DESTINATION :: san luis obispo, california
I can use a little getaway and The Sanitarium just might be the place.  Close enough to get to from LA, this quaint little bed and breakfast (and spa) looks like the ultimate relax haven to retreat to. The decor is pure with a bit of (dare I say) country.  I’m daydreaming of grabbing my vintage suitcase, taking a scenic drive, sipping some pinot grigio and taking in a little something...

NY :: SAMPLE SALES 5/17-5/20
New York always manages to make every other city a bit jealous.  Extended hours for nightclubs, scrumptious bagels and pizza, and they are usually the first to get destination shopping in SoHo (South of Houston) all the way up to 5th Avenue.  Then there are sample sales, and while some of us (Los Angeles, Portland, Chicago, Miami) get our fair share, New York gets a few we wish we were...

I GET IT FROM MY MAMA
                  There are a few things that I must admit are attributes from my mother.  From her strength, to her smirk, and even her derriere.  Funny how that all happens.  Happy mothers day to my dearest.  I love you and thank you for everything you have done and everything you are willing to do for the little girl I will always be in your eyes.  Wishes for more happy joyful days.
