REFORM SCHOOL
Recently found myself at the sunset junction area of Silverlake and visited ReForm School.  I love all the nick knacks, artwork, kid’s stuff, and window display.  Great place to grab a gift for a birthday or just because.  I actually found some adorable baby  sunnies and had to buy them for little Audrey  for her first Spring and Summer.  I also found a radical tambourine that I got for...

ART IN THE STREETS
The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA hosts yet another large scale production Art in the Streets.  While everyone was away at Coachella, I decided to stay behind and made the most of beautiful warm Los Angeles by going to the member opening party on Saturday.  Let me tell you, it was overwhelming with its long list of artists and epicness.  I will have to go back to see what I missed, because...

miniWANDERLUST
What a Wednesday. After a long day on the westside, I managed to make it up to the secret show that MFG and MiniCooper put on tonight in Malibu on the Frank Lloyd Wright property. The twists and turns through the mountains made me a bit sick and nervous, but once we got there..it was great..well actually it was freezing! The open bar, bbq, hot chocolate and performances by GroupLove...

HEXA by KUHO
Jung Kuho, Korean Designer, whom graduated from Parsons New School of Design and is the creative director of Samsung, presented his newline HEXA during NYFW.  The Fall/ Winter ‘11 collection is presented with quite the production.  Spotlights lead models one by one through a geometric designed catwalk, with garments that were subtlety bright and cocoon shaped and draped.  Pins, folds and...

COINCIDENCE
I realized as I was looking at this spread for Vogue Russia that I have the same high waisted, floor length, wide leg trousers.  They are perfect!  Anyhow, the styling is executed really well with an idea of serious business with a dominatrix.  A new interpretation of a detailed shoulder minus the shoulder pads.  The buckles, metal eyelets, leather and steel rings give even more edge to what...

ITSY BITSY TEENY WEENY
Yesterday’s high 80 degree weather here was embraced fully by Los Angeleno’s.  I myself headed to, where else, the beach.  It was perfect!  The ocean breeze blew over me as I laid in the warm sand while working on the bronziest of base tans.  Norma Kamali, (whom’s designs are pictured) is a designer based in New York that is known for her swim suits.  Innovative and functional...
